Great Tent

I bought this tent a few months ago and I love it! It is extremely light and packs small. Its three pole design is sturdy and efficient. It is also very convenient that this tent comes with a footprint. All materials are high quality, and have held up very well so far. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a light, compact, yet robust tent.

i love that this tent is easily compact and allows for a sense of breathable sensibility. the tent is also light, and can even be lighter if you choose to only use the footprint, tarp and polls

Big Agnes Elkhorn 2 person tent

Used it twice and it's about your average tent. The weather conditions were pretty calm at around 25F so can not comment on the water and wind protection the tent could provide. It kept us pretty warm inside the tent. The tent I was using before this one is Sierra Designs Electron 2 person. The Big Agnes Elkhorn 2 is slightly smaller and only has one door which makes this tent a little lighter. Mine weight about 5lbs 2oz with just tent, vestibule, and poles.

One trip so far

I have used this tent on one trip to Michigan. The tent set up easily, the directions are adequate. Camping next to lake Michigan the ventilation proved to be good keeping condensation to a minimum. Several days of high winds showed no problems other than the need to substitute the included tent stakes with ones more appropriate for sandy soils.
