This is Tamar, the "Wild Mustang". Well, maybe not so wild anymore. She used to be though. When we adopted Tamar from the BLMAdoption program nine years ago, she was so wild we couldn't even get ahold of the twenty foot lead rope that she came attached too! After about a year of persistance in using gentle breaking methods we taught ourselves, we were able to ride her for the first time. Since that time, we have seen her grow into one of the most loyal, loving, gentle horses we know. She loves to see Robin everyday and she will stand and let little kids pet her all day long.
