Jeeps love mud puddles & Jeep owners love mud puddles as much as any little kid does. We will go out of our way to get a little splash of mud on our rigs. Northern California has some great plces to go four wheeling, but if you don't live within' short range of any of them, you take what you can get. This gravel pit off hi-way 299 east of Arcata is chock full of neat little mud holes that made a good "quick fix" for a couple of hours of splashing around a while back.
