Snowboarding In Northern California

Mention winter sports in Northern California, and a couple of things come to mind (at least ones we can discuss here anyway). Snowboarding and Skiing. These are among the top rated activities in our winter itinerary. Sure, there are many other things you could be doing this time of year to pass the time away until spring or summer (like catching up on some reading, cleaning out your garage, remodeling the bathroom or other really important chore), but the best way we can think of to get us through a long cold winter is by letting loose on the slopes. Especially just after a hard week at work or school, and a two or three foot dump of clean, fresh powder!

If we did not have Snowboarding & Skiing, a lot of people would probably not survive the winter. Lets face it, most people (especially snowboarders) need to get an adrenelin fix every now & then just to hold on to their sanity. Snowboarding & Skiing are a great way of getting this out of our system. Without the opportunity to release this pent up need, there's a good possibility that the news would be full of reports involving unexplained incidents of mass hysteria and random acts of stupidity (where do you think all the ideas for the movie "Jack Ass" came from? those guys were obviously deprived of something that made them become perveyors of such insane behavior).
